Context
When a company has spent over sixty years building its reputation in premium materials, visual quality isn’t a detail, it’s the core of its value proposition. With a network of over 76 official distributors across three continents (32 in Europe, 18 in the Americas, 26 in other regions, plus presence in Asia, Africa and Oceania) this client operates in a market where image is always the first sales argument.
This wasn’t our first collaboration. Following a previous project on modular linen furniture, the brand chose to work with us again. That trust had been earned through details: the care given to textures, the respect for the brief, the personalised approach throughout the entire process. As a 3D rendering company specialised in surface materials, that kind of continuity is the clearest signal that the work speaks for itself.
Objective
The brief was clear in its priority and demanding in its execution: textures had to be the absolute protagonists, without forcing their reading. At the same time, the brand needed dynamic content for social media. The project they had in mind was a launch campaign built around five aspirational spaces:
- Florist shop: nature, delicacy and controlled colour.
- Hotel reception: elegance, scale and luxury hospitality.
- Jewellery store: precision, reflection and noble materials.
- Autumnal living room: warmth, living texture and tonal depth.
- Cocktail bar: sophistication and dramatic ligh.
The challenge wasn’t only technical, it was narrative. The porcelain had to feel like an organic part of each environment. That balance between prominence and naturalness is where the credibility of any architectural visualization company working with premium materials is truly tested.
Workflow
Before modelling a single vertex, we defined a visual strategy built around one principle: integration, not illustration. As a 3D visualization studio with extensive experience in materials and surfaces, the process unfolded across six stages:
- Showroom visit to analyse how materials behave under real lighting conditions.
- Initial brief translating brand needs into concrete creative decisions.
- Extended modelling with iterations on brightness, reflection and lighting parameters to achieve a hyperrealistic reading.
- Three progressive presentations of atmospheric environments, incorporating feedback at each stage.
- Animation brief with camera choreography and close-ups designed to emphasise texture.
- Campaign production: a 60-second video optimised for digital platforms.

Key Learnings
What this project reaffirmed is that a material should never look like it’s being presented. The moment the camera points at it rather than inhabits it, everything falls apart. Visual narrative, light, space and movement must work together so that texture emerges on its own, as something inevitable.
Working with a CGI studio specialized in architecture & real estate means understanding that trust it’s proven at every stage. Managed well, trial and error doesn’t slow a project down, it sharpens it. And when a client comes back, it’s never a coincidence: it’s the result of many small decisions made with care.
