Renovating a historic hotel in the heart of Madrid came with a complex challenge: modernising the infrastructure and renewing its image, while preserving its architectural and cultural identity.The aim was not only to protect the building’s memory but to reinterpret it with a contemporary outlook, one that responds to today’s needs without losing its essence. The guiding principle was balance: tradition and innovation, classical and modern, historic spaces and new volumes.This approach opens the hotel to a stronger connection with both the city and nature. Green areas and an exclusive rooftop complete a project that redefines the urban experience through sustainability and design. Our task was to capture this balance between heritage and innovation.
